Develop market position and market share of APV crops as well as build up a long-term relationship with potential national and/or international complex and/or multi-crop customers that are of strategic importance for APV to gain a strong position in the reference markets in line with the M&S strategy to realise profitability and partnership.
Major Accountabilities:
Sales
- Plan, review, adapt and execute the annual and/or more annual sales plans in line with M&S strategy of APV.
- Introduce company products and services to Strategic/Key Customers in line with M&S strategy.
- Steer the Customer Team to assure a successful management and implementation of customer business plans with all related short- and long-term objectives.
- Build long-lasting trustful relationships with selected customers. Develop a thorough understanding of customers’ needs, requirements, and objectives to improve the customer experience. Customers can be direct or indirect customers.
Marketing
- Provide market, price, and product information in line with M&S strategy to contribute to the formulation of the marketing and sales plan together with Customer and Crop Marketing.
- Improve APV market intelligence in the working area, updates on market trends, new traits and potentials that could open new sales opportunities.
- Contribute to strengthen the knowledge and excellence of the Global and Regional Crop Teams.
Cash Management
- Responsible for money collection in line with the financial policy and the payment terms within APV.
