Suez Canal Container Terminal (SCCT) is strategically located at the northern entrance of the Suez Canal—offering unmatched access to global trade routes across the East, West, and Central Mediterranean, the Levant, Black Sea, and beyond. Founded in 2004 as a public-private joint venture, SCCT is majority-owned and operated by APM Terminals (55%), with other key stakeholders including COSCO (20%), the Suez Canal Authority (10.3%), Egyptian private sector (9.7%), and the National Bank of Egypt (5%). We are seeking a strategic, execution-focused, and LEAN-minded Chief Operating Officer to lead SCCT’s operational and digital transformation. You will have end-to-end accountability for terminal execution, asset management, yard and gate operations, IT/digitalization, and large-scale performance initiatives.
This is a high-impact executive role that goes beyond operational efficiency—it’s about building a resilient, digital-first, and continuously improving terminal for the future.
