We’re looking for a curious and collaborative Data Scientist to help us turn data into insights and solutions that make a difference with focus in Revenue Growth Management & Finance areas. You’ll work closely with both technical and business teams to co-create models, and data products that scale across markets. Whether you're deep in one ML technique or exploring new ones, we value people who are passionate about learning and building with purpose. You will be part of a supportive team managing initiatives spanning across 29 markets, assuming a pivotal role in both scaling existing solutions and developing new ones. Your contribution will be essential for delivering sustained value through data-driven insights and elevating the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
IN THIS EXCITING ROLE YOU WILL:
• Collaborate extensively with business stakeholders to deeply understand challenges and identify opportunities.
• Develop and implement machine learning and statistical models to extract valuable insights, predict trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Employ your analytical skills to decipher large datasets, and identify opportunities to enhance existing solutions, as well as develop new ones.
• Contribute to the creation of new solutions by developing proof-of-concepts (PoC), essentially supporting the solution’s design.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, data engineers, AI engineers, product managers, technical leads and business experts to ensure the smooth integration of data, while also maintaining robustness.
YOU CAN BE SUCCESFULL IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:
• Experience with data science or analytics work (1-3 years of experience)
• Comfort using Python & PySpark and some big data tools (we work with Azure, Databricks & Power BI — you don’t need to know them all!)
• Experience with Azure environment, DevOps, Databricks. PowerBI and PowerApps are considered a plus
• A solid foundation in ML or statistical modeling — expertise in one area is a must, and we encourage growth in others
• Proven experience in delivering analytical projects, including the ability to develop proof-of-concept solutions. Bonus if within a CPG/retail industry
• Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset for identifying opportunities to enhance existing solutions and even propose new ones
• Organizational skills are a must as we manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with other team members and external vendors
