• Database Management: Backend developers design and manage the database systems that store and retrieve data for the application. This includes creating, optimizing, and maintaining database schemas, writing database queries, and ensuring data integrity and security.
• API Development: Backend developers build and maintain application programming interfaces (APIs) that allow the frontend and other services to communicate with the backend. This involves designing RESTful or GraphQL APIs, implementing endpoints, and handling data requests and responses.
