Egypt Tax &Treasury Financial Controller

Job Summary

 

Key Responsibilities:

A-Treasury Responsibility:

1. Cash & Liquidity Management:

a. Monitor and manage daily cash positions across all bank accounts.

b. Forecast short-term and long-term cash flows.

c. Ensure optimal liquidity to meet operational needs.

d. Intercompany funding arrangements.

2. Banking & Financial Operations

a. Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.

b. Negotiate and review the banking fees, credit lines, and loan agreements.

c. Execute fund transfers and foreign exchange transactions.

d. Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.

3. Treasury Reporting & Analysis

a. Prepare treasury reports including cash flow statements and liquidity analysis.

b. Analyze funding strategies and financial risks.

c. Support financial audits and provide treasury-related documentation.

4. Treasury Systems & Controls

a. Implement and maintain treasury management systems (TMS).

b. Develop and enforce treasury policies and procedures.

c. Ensure internal controls are in place for treasury operations (Cash &Trade).

 

5. Manage Trade Transactions (Import/Export):

a. Check the documentation from the Supply chain and ensure to follow the approved process within the agreed lead time to manage the end-to-end import process for all trade transactions (letter of credit of Documents for collection). Ensure Regulatory Compliance.

b. Resolve any transaction issues.

c. Maintain accurate records of trade finance transactions and ensure proper filing of

d. Track shipments and generate performance reports

 

 

B-Tax Responsibility:

1. Tax Compliance & Reporting:

a. Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with Egyptian laws and regulations.

b. Prepare and file corporate income tax, VAT, payroll tax, and other statutory returns.

c. Maintain tax balances on the general ledger and ensure accurate tax accounting.

2. Tax Planning & Advisory

d. Provide innovative tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities.

e. Review complex tax returns and identify potential tax savings.

f. Advise management on tax implications of business decisions.

 

3. Audit & Risk Management

g. Manage and coordinate tax audits with external auditors and tax authorities.

h. Identify and mitigate tax risks through proactive measures.

i. Ensure timely response to tax authority inquiries and data requests
