The Finance Controller is responsible for driving the financial performance and governance of the plant’s supply chain activities and large-scale capital investment projects. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of cost tracking, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial compliance across operations.
What You´ll Do
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly variance analysis for all plant cost lines (e.g., Processing Costs, Utilization Variance).
- Monitor KPIs such as Euro/ton, productivity ratios, and cost per unit.
- Analyze financial performance and prepare detailed monthly reports with insights and recommendations.
- Ensure accurate cost allocation across production, engineering, logistics, and warehousing functions.
- Identify risks and opportunities in plant cost structures and drive financial improvement initiatives.
- Support the development of business plans, long-term financial models, and profitability simulations for SC projects.
- Track inventory valuation and related cost movements (slow-moving, excess stock provisions).
