Job Summary

As a key player in the consumer goods industry, our company is looking for an experienced FMCG Sales Manager to drive sales and manage our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the fast-moving consumer goods sector and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. They will be responsible for developing strategies to meet and exceed sales goals, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring the efficient execution of sales plans. The Sales Manager will also collaborate with other departments to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives, ensuring that our products reach a wider audience in a competitive market.


 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to reach individual and team sales goals.
  • Analyze current market trends to identify potential opportunities for business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and provide strategic feedback to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and optimize the sales budget to maximize return on investment.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to hone the skills of the sales team.
  • Negotiate key deals and contracts with major clients to secure long-term partnerships.
  • Assess customer feedback and create product adjustment plans as needed.
  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of new sales team members as necessary.


 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of five years of proven experience in sales management within the FMCG sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a high-performing sales team effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify market trends and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales performance tracking tools.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
