Global Procurement Assistant Analyst

Job Summary

The Global Procurement Assistant Analyst will work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that demands strong communication, organizational skills, and a high level of follow-up. This role is responsible for coordinating with the Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to receive scrap selling requests and effectively communicating those requests to waste brokers and customers to facilitate the sale of waste materials. The analyst will also collaborate with the Finance Control team to resolve issues related to insurance and payments. Additionally, the role includes responsibility for reporting productivity and building a comprehensive database to support effective waste management. Attention to detail, dedication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Handle two semi-annual waste auctions across all company sites.• Manage all scrap selling requests received throughout the year.• Provide all required documentation and ensure timely collection of insurance from awarded customers.• Conduct daily follow-ups to ensure timely loading and dispatch of waste materials.• Ensure all waste management activities comply with relevant laws and regulations to minimize the risk of non-compliance.• Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, Control, Supply Chain, Manufacturing) and external partners (waste brokers, customers) to ensure seamless waste selling operations.• Coordinate with stakeholders and waste brokers to resolve any issues during the waste loading process.• Oversee and ensure the timely and accurate clearance of waste by working closely with brokers.• Provide accurate, complete, and timely responses to emails and queries from internal and external stakeholders.• Create customer codes for new customers and vendor codes for non-registered customers.• Manage customer payments and resolve related insurance issues.• Conduct monthly || annual reporting and analysis of waste management volumes and productivity.• Identify and implement process optimization opportunities to improve the efficiency of waste management operations.• Maintain regular follow-ups with Finance and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely settlement of customs clearance broker invoices by resolving invoice exceptions related to the clearance process

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills (needs to be able to build relationships with Suppliers & Users) ability to interact effectively with all levels of internal teams and suppliers• Strong organizational, investigative, communication and strategic thinking skills• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously• Professional presentation experience• Proficiency in customs management software.• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).• Ideally with a logistical or finance/analytical background• Good English level • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.• 2-3 years in operations or a similar role, preferably within the beverage or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
