The GT Controller Engineer is responsible for programming and providing technical support for turbine control and protection systems for gas and steam turbines, including executing commissioning activities and conducting functional tests on control cabinets. Candidates should have an engineering degree or equivalent experience, with expertise in Siemens T3000 automation technology and familiarity with systems like Step7 and WinCC, along with experience in automation technology and thermal power plants. Fluency in English is required for customer communication, and the role involves approximately 80% travel for on-site support, offering an opportunity to contribute to innovative energy solutions in a dynamic environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
• Programming of turbine control and protection systems for GT/ST turbines and technical clarification on site.
• Performing and support GT/ST commissioning activities including mechanical activities.
• Technical support during commissioning as well as on-site support of commissioning.
• Participation in the further development of the control system for continuous product improvement
• calling out hotline for the technical support of our customers, occasional participation in on-call weeks
• Carrying out functional tests on control cabinets (FATs)
• Occasionally carrying out customer training
