The designee shall be qualified to maintain, modify, and repair electrical power generating and control systems, automatic transfer switches, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC) systems, and associated equipment. Performs scheduled periodic maintenance on systems and components, and adjusts systems to maintain proper voltage, refrigerant levels, current, frequency, and synchronization. Identifies, repairs, and records malfunctions by removing, repairing, and or replacing defective components. The designee shall maintain systems such as, but not limited to Cummins generator series' DGDK, DSGAB, DGBB, C15D6, C35D6 125D6D, MEPP series 1050, 1070A, PP- 3106A and utilize Cummins Inpower software for diagnostics. This designee shall be qualified to work from blueprints, drawings, and operating a variety of electrician’s hand tools and testing instruments. Support various generator/HVAC systems identified in Table 4.5.1 – C2 Systems and Associated Support Equipment; Table 4.5.2 ATCALS Systems and Associated Support Equipment; Table 4.5.3 ATC Weather Systems and Associated Support equipment; Table 4.5.4 C2 Air Control Squadron O&M Support, Table 4.5.5 Regional Maintenance Center O&M and Support Equipment. Units range from 15kW to 250kW power generation and 1 - 5 ton HVAC split and roof top configurations.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
