About the role

Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh is a luxurious Red Sea destination known for its lush landscapes and exceptional guest experiences. The Irrigation Manager plays a critical role in maintaining the resort’s green spaces to the highest standards of aesthetic and environmental quality, ensuring sustainable and efficient irrigation practices across the property.

What you will do

• Design drip and sprinkler irrigation systems tailored to landscape layouts, plant species, soil types, and climate conditions
• Manage and program irrigation schedules to ensure efficient watering and healthy plant growth
• Monitor irrigation performance, identify areas of under- or over-irrigation, and implement corrective actions
• Conduct regular inspections and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all irrigation system components
• Implement smart irrigation technologies (e.g., soil moisture sensors, rain sensors) to support water conservation efforts
• Promote sustainable irrigation practices, including the use of treated greywater where applicable
• Supervise and guide irrigation technicians and grounds crews, ensuring tasks are performed to high standards
• Provide ongoing training and development for team members to maintain operational excellence
• Prepare detailed technical reports covering water consumption, system performance, and maintenance activities
• Collaborate with Landscaping, Engineering, and General Maintenance teams to support property-wide projects and events
• Ensure compliance with environmental policies and international quality standards related to irrigation and sustainability
