Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist who is ITIL certified to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our internal users and clients. This role will involve troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing and resolving technical problems, and ensuring that IT services are delivered effectively and efficiently in line with ITIL best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
  • Document all technical issues and resolutions in the IT service management system.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Follow ITIL best practices to ensure that IT services are delivered according to agreed-upon service levels.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of IT support processes and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and ITIL frameworks to enhance service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • ITIL Foundation certification required; additional ITIL certifications (e.g., ITIL Intermediate, ITIL Expert) preferred.
  • Proven experience in providing technical support in a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systems, as well as common productivity software (Microsoft Office, etc.).
  • Familiarity with IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
