Based in Dubai the workshop supervisor will be responsible for Pressure Managements service operations from its facility in the UAE. The role will own the workshop team and coordinate all in house Overhaul, parts and repair activities relating to the PRM range of products; Safety valves, Regulators and Tank Product!
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Service Operations
- Facilitating valve service center functions including service operations, facility maintenance and machine shop and contractors management. .
- Responsible for coordinating and facilitating all in house and field activities..
- Responsible for maintenance of all materials, equipment’s, parts and tools necessary for the day-to-day services operations
- Responsible for planning and execution to achieve monthly service center POR.
- Be a leader of any changes as business evolves and assist with implementation as necessary for process improvements.
- Constantly try to improve the company’s performance towards higher customer service standards and improve financial performance.
- Support for job costing of all goods and services and preparation of quotes for complex, new and/or out-of-scope services.
- Calibration, testing, troubleshooting and diagnostics of Pressure Management Products. Strong Technical skills in assembly, testing, trouble shooting in pressure relief and regulator products for this position
- Talk to product engineers, representatives, suppliers, 3rd party inspection agency and customers to resolve quality issues and any questions that arise.
- Collaborate with the PRM sales team and wider sales channels to find ways to uncover business growth opportunities and ensure capacity for targeted STO’s
- Knowledge in International standards API527, API 576, API 2000, ASME Sec XIII, NBIC etc
- Deliver KPI’s results in line with the BU objectives including:
- Profit and loss accountability – Depot service
- Resources Utilization, measurement and optimization
Quality Assurance/Health & Safety
- Responsible for quality control of all work performed and determination of safety codes and engineering standards applicable to repair work performed.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment(s) and adhering to all Emerson / Fisher policies as well as OSHA
- Drive safety improvements plans in respective work area
- Implementation of non-conformance processes, corrective actions and preventive action processes.
- Co-ordination of internal quality program, customer surveillance, third party inspection, and regulatory agency audit
- Keep employees advised of changes in work practices.
