Our independence, expertise, and experience make us a natural choice for a wide range of design solutions across the Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America. We specialize in vessel and marine asset design and conversion, marine operations engineering, and energy transition engineering solutions.

Working as a core member of our team in Egypt, you will work on the preparation of process related documentation for concept, FEED or detailed design studies for our clients in the Oil and Gas sector. This could include process simulations, heat & material balance, process and utility flow diagrams (PFDs and UFDs), piping & instrumentation diagrams (PIDs) and system descriptions (process and utility systems). Ultimately, you will be responsible for the planning, verification and execution of projects.

What will you be doing?

  • Assist or lead in the preparation of bids and tenders for business development opportunities.
  • Undertake sizing and specification of process equipment, such as water/gas treatment, separators, compressors, valves and pumps. These may include flare and blowdown simulations.
  • Perform specialist studies to develop feasible and suitable solutions or concepts for various process plants.
  • Participate in design reviews, technical due-diligence, and process-related reviews.
  • Lead or support project tasks to ensure the successful delivery of solutions to clients, within the agreed timeframe, budget, and quality standards.
  • Be responsible for the execution of project tasks and deliverables in accordance with quality and HSE standards.
  • Attend regular internal meetings and external or third-party meetings as required.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure project completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and communicate relevant technological developments or regulatory changes which may impact the business or provide new opportunities.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching and training to subordinates as required

What are we looking for?

Ideally, you will be an experienced Process Engineer with a proven track record within the oil and gas sector. More specifically, we are looking for the following:

  • Educated to degree level in Chemical Engineering or equivalent. A master’s degree is beneficial.
  • Minimum 7 years relevant professional experience.
  • Proven experience of using process simulation modelling software such as Aspen HYSYS.
  • Proven experience of sizing and specifying process equipment such as valves and instruments.
  • Proven experience of preparing P&IDs.
  • Fluent in English.
