DXC Technology Egypt is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Point-of-Sale (POS) systems to join our Modern Application Development Group. This team plays a vital role in delivering end-to-end digital transformation projects for our retail clients. As a Retail Consultant, you will lead the implementation and optimization of D365 Commerce and POS solutions, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design customer-centric retail experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce (Retail) modules, including POS (MPOS/CPOS), Store Management, Pricing, Promotions, Loyalty, and eCommerce integration.
- Conduct workshops and gather detailed business requirements related to retail operations, store processes, merchandising, and omnichannel sales.
- Translate retail business requirements into scalable D365 Retail solutions aligned with best practices and Microsoft standards.
- Define business processes, create functional design documents (FDDs), and support solution architecture in collaboration with technical teams.
- Drive system testing, UAT, training sessions, go-live, and post-go-live support in retail and POS environments.
- Coordinate with technical teams to support POS device setup, extension requirements, and integration with payment gateways or fiscal printers.
- Manage retail-specific data entities such as assortments, catalogs, channels, and registers.
- Guide customers on hardware recommendations for POS terminals, peripherals (printers, scanners, cash drawers), and offline scenarios.
- Act as a subject matter expert for store operations, omnichannel order processing, and retail back-office activities.
- Maintain strong client relationships through value-driven consulting, stakeholder engagement, and proactive support.
