The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructures that support our organization's operational goals within the Food, Beverages. This position requires a proactive approach to optimizing network performance and security while ensuring seamless connectivity across various business functions.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, and VPN solutions.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues to ensure optimal uptime and functionality.
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement network security policies and protocols.
- Plan and execute network upgrades and enhancements to support business growth.
- Assist in the integration of new technology and applications into the network environment.
- Document network configurations, topology, and operational procedures for internal reference and compliance.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff and end-users regarding network technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Network Engineer or in a similar role within a large corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.), and security practices.
- Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) and software solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently and effectively.
- Certifications such as Cisco CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or similar industry-recognized certifications are highly preferred.
