The Pricing Auditor is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and auditing pricing data. This role ensures pricing accuracy, profitability, compliance with contractual obligations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with pricing structures in the tourism and travel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit pricing entries in the system to ensure accuracy and consistency with supplier contracts and company guidelines.
- Identify pricing discrepancies, variances, or errors across multiple systems (e.g., ERP, reservation platforms, and internal tools).
- Collaborate with Contracting, Product, and Finance teams to validate cost components and ensure margin integrity.
- Conduct regular audits of rate sheets, promotions, and seasonal pricing updates.
- Maintain records of audit findings, corrections, and reports for compliance and review.
- Provide recommendations to improve pricing accuracy, automation, and internal controls.
- Support training of pricing analysts or operations teams on correct pricing procedures.
- Assist in preparing reports for management, showing trends, audit outcomes, and areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Tourism, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in pricing, auditing, or finance within the travel or DMC industry preferd
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Familiarity with travel product pricing: hotels, excursions, transfers, and dynamic packaging its a plus.
- Good understanding of gross/net rates, commissions and mark-ups.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
