Job Summary

The Product Development Expert will serve as a pivotal authority in driving the strategic optimization of services processes across the organization. This senior-management role demands a refined capability to deeply analyze, diagnose, and reengineer existing services to enhance effectiveness, adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), and overall customer satisfaction while aligning with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an intricate understanding of governmental operations and the unique challenges these sectors face. Responsibilities will encompass conducting thorough due diligence via interviews, workshops, and document reviews with various stakeholders, developing actionable optimization plans, and proposing innovative service concepts to streamline services. The individual will lead and mentor a dedicated team, ensuring attainment of specified goals and objectives, while also delivering compelling presentations and proposals. The role requires substantial project management experience, encompassing risk assessment and stakeholder engagement, as well as mastery of consulting methodologies and tools.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in product development and service optimization, with a strong emphasis on governmental or public sector organizations.
  • Proven track record in services process reengineering, with demonstrable outcomes in improving service effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
  • Extensive experience in reviewing departmental mandates and formulating innovative service concepts in alignment with strategic goals.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive due diligence through qualitative research methods such as interviews, workshops, and surveys, and to develop detailed optimization reports.
  • Knowledge of various consulting frameworks and methodologies relevant to service optimization and public sector consultancy.
  • Mastery of project management skills, including planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Professional certifications (such as 6 Sigma, PMP, or equivalent) that validate expertise in process improvement methodologies.
  • Previous experience working for a Big 4 consulting firm or a reputable consultancy company, particularly in governmental services optimization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and diagnose current services processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for enhancement, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and customer needs.
  • Lead a team in developing and implementing a comprehensive optimization plan that identifies priority services for reengineering, redundancy elimination, or complete overhaul.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing services through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather qualitative and quantitative data for informed decision-making.
  • Propose and defend innovative service concepts developed from the review of departmental mandates and community feedback, aimed at elevating service delivery methods.
  • Create and deliver impactful presentations and proposals to senior leadership, demonstrating thorough research, analysis, and strategic recommendations for service improvements.
