As a Project Design Engineer, you will be responsible for translating customer requirements and project specifications into robust and reliable engineering designs. You will support the full lifecycle of electrical infrastructure projects—from concept and planning to design implementation and support—ensuring compliance, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive engineering designs and technical solutions for medium and low voltage systems, including switchgears, protection and control panels, and substation automation systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand design specifications, functional requirements, and timelines.
• Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and material specifications in alignment with project and industry standards.
• Ensure designs adhere to relevant standards (IEC, IEEE) and local regulations.
• Conduct technical evaluations, design reviews, and system integration planning.
• Provide engineering support during installation, testing, commissioning, and service upgrades.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (procurement, execution, quality) to ensure design feasibility and successful implementation.
• Identify and mitigate potential design risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain regular updates with project stakeholders on design progress and any changes.
• Participate in client meetings and technical workshops, presenting solutions clearly and confidently.

Your Qualifications and Skills – Technical and Future-Ready!

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from reputable university or college.
• Our ideal candidate bring with 3–5 years of experience in electrical design engineering within the Electrification & Automation industry.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV switchgears, protection & control systems, substation automation, and smart grid communication technologies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar electrical design software.
• Familiarity with service-related aspects including retrofitting, testing, commissioning, and maintenance is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering quality results.
