The Quality Assurance Officer ensures the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of football match data across all stages of collection, entry, and delivery. They are responsible for monitoring quality control procedures, identifying errors, and supporting the continuous improvement of data operations and reporting standards. Key Responsibilities • Monitor and evaluate the quality of data entered by data entry and match operations teams. • Conduct regular audits of match reports, statistics, and dashboards to ensure data accuracy and completeness. • Develop, maintain, and implement quality assurance policies and procedures. • Identify root causes of data inconsistencies or errors and recommend corrective actions. • Collaborate with data entry specialists, football analysts, and developers to ensure high standards of performance and output. • Document findings and prepare quality reports with actionable feedback. • Assist in training and onboarding of new data entry specialists and analysts on quality protocols. • Participate in revising tools or systems used to streamline quality processes. • Stay up to date with football data trends and international data quality standards. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Sports Science, Data Analytics, or a related field. • Proven experience in quality assurance, preferably in data-driven environments. • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. • Familiarity with football rules, match flow, and key statistics. • Excellent communication and reporting skills. • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and other data tools. • Experience with QA tools or systems is a plus.
