We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality specifications through effective inspection and testing processes. Monitor the quality of transformers and their components throughout all phases of manufacturing, complying with internal, customer, and industry standards. Execute timely quality control activities and deliver data-driven insights to support manufacturing excellence and minimize defects.
How you’ll make an impact
- Performing electrical, mechanical, and visual tests.
- Verifying compliance of sub-assemblies and final products with specifications before progression.
- Identifying and documenting defects or non-conformances in products, escalating issues as necessary.
- Collecting, recording, and securely storing test and inspection data for traceability and decision-making.
- Following safety protocols and guidelines in all testing activities to prioritize workplace safety.
- Using test equipment correctly and ensuring it remains accessible for maintenance and calibration.
- Contributing to non-conformance analyses to determine root causes and collaborate on corrective actions.
- Adhering to the Factory Quality Management System (QMS) by implementing established procedures.
- Preparing quality documentation, including inspection reports and non-conformance records.
- Supporting 5S initiatives by ensuring a tidy and organized working environment.
- Conducting regular safety assessments and promoting a culture of safety within the team.
- Collaborating with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality issues.
- Participating in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and inspection plans.

Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Certification as a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, demonstrating proficiency in process improvement
- methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and industry standards, including ISO 9001 and ISO 45001.
- Proficiency in conducting inspections and testing of materials and products.
- Excellent analytical skills for identifying defects and conducting root cause analysis
- Effective communication skills for documenting findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.
