Today, we are recruiting for a RAMS Manager to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
What are my responsibilities?
- You perform, implement, and support the process activities in accordance with the company policy as well as mandatory requirements, regulations, and international standards (e.g. EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129, EN 61508, etc)
- You support for the preparation of project-specific Safety Case including technical safety report as well as RAMS concepts, plans and processes. You play a key role in ensuring that we achieve the RAM/Safety deliverables and targets.
- Support the independent planning, system design and system optimization of complete solutions with a view to achieving the RAMS objectives.
- Support on the implementation of complex system concepts, innovations, technical risk potential and competitor analysis.
- You are responsible to perform and support the hazard mitigation process, prepare, and maintain the hazard log and manage the hazard close-out process as well as the activities to perform the functional proof of safety.
- You support in system integration tests and trial runs to prepare and perform the RAMS demonstration activities, and in the commissioning of complete solutions.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Engineering Degree in Electrical/ Traffic engineering or similar.
- 7-10 Years of applied system safety/RAM experience in the railway system industry is desirable.
- Fluency in English is a must.
- Advanced understanding of railway related infrastructure including trackwork, station & tunnel M&E systems and transit systems including rolling stock, signaling, communication and power systems.
- Advanced experience in executing of area of RAMS management activities.
