Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce Developer who is accustomed to working as a key member of a lean, Agile delivery and/or support team. You will play an essential role in configuring, customizing and maintaining our software products using Salesforce.com technology, which is key to the success of our business.

Our products are developed using Salesforce.com cloud technology. These products are developed by the IQVIA Global/Local Team and configured and customized by the RBU team based on client requirements. The products are integrated with Mulesoft, AWS, Tableau, Reltio, Oracle ERP, SAP, and are flexible to be integrated with other systems.

What to expect in this role:

  • Conduct and coordinate the configuration of software applications requiring advanced knowledge and developing business expertise.
  • Determine the requirements for custom applications and systems design specifications.
  • Use current programming languages to conduct a full range of programming tasks including program design, coding, debugging, and documentation for various general applications programs including data manipulation, input, and output routines.
  • Frequently work on program maintenance, error detection, and correction of existing codes and/or revisions to systems documentation.
  • Identify and implement root cause fixes to program, system, and/or applications errors.
  • Work collaboratively and efficiently across functional teams in a fast-paced environment, taking initiative on medium tasks under broad supervision.
  • Understand and guide others on standards of engineering quality through source control, code reviews, continuous integration, and unit tests.
  • Help improve infrastructure and application development.
  • Provide input on the establishment of development best practices and standards for the organization.
  • Participate in regular formal and informal team sessions, like sprint-planning, refinement sessions, kick-offs, daily stand-ups, and retros.
  • Help continuously improve our CI/CD pipeline, as well as the tools and methods that the team uses, to provide as much value as possible, with high quality, for as little effort as possible.
  • Proactively share knowledge and produce “just good enough” documentation.
