Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a SAP FICO Consultant for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology, and engineering services.
This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and implement SAP FICO solutions to meet business requirements.
- Provide expert-level support for existing SAP FICO functionalities.
- Conduct requirements gathering workshops and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, and user manuals.
- Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO related issues.
- Collaborate with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP) to ensure seamless integration.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP releases, enhancements, and best practices.
- Provide training and support to end-users on SAP FICO processes.
- Participate in system upgrades and enhancements.
- Contribute to process improvements and optimization initiatives within finance and controlling.
- Manage small to medium-sized projects related to SAP FICO.
- Work with various FICO functionalities like General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Controlling (CO), Costing, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration and implementation.
- Strong understanding of financial and controlling processes.
- Expertise in master data management (MDM) within SAP FICO.
- Experience with SAP FICO sub-modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, AA, CO).
- Proficiency in ABAP debugging and basic programming is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
