Parsons is looking for a Senior Attractions Specialist to join our team for our projects in Jeddah! In this role you will be responsible to support scope development, scope management and technical performance of specialist third party design consultants and contractors to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
What You'll Be Doing
- Serve as the primary point of contact under the PMC role for Attractions within a project.
- Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of attraction projects within the complex, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected third party specialist design consultants and contractors during the program execution; following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
- Establishes the programme requirements for assigned project areas and is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of:
- Third party design consultant’s project KPIs and design deliverables in support of the design brief.
- Administering value management and value engineering activities and ensures Attraction design and manufacturing solutions fully address and incorporate base build architectural, structural, MEP considerations and comply with local and international rides and attractions certification requirements (DIN, EN, ASTM).
- Provides support in maintaining current and timely change orders associated with third party design consultants and contractors.
- Works with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the Attractions; ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.
- Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams of professionals.
- Ability to integrate competing and/or conflicting elements into the planning and execution processes so that project requirements flow smoothly.
- Works with the key project individual to devise and execute actions plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work; advises the client and company management of any such changes.
- Lead the review, workshops, and weekly Design Management team meetings to review project status and formulate action items.
- Prepare and submit an Interface & Integration Checklist and Action Tracker for Attractions, describing and detailing the on-going LDC and ADC interface and strategy for the successful completion of the work.
- Scheduling and coordination of project interactions among third party design consultants (LDC, and Specialist Rides and Attractions), client, Rides and Attractions vendors/contractors, and local stakeholders.
- Make sure that drawings and documents are prepared in such a manner that Interfaces are clearly visible and identified for all Stakeholders involved in the execution of the work.
