Food People has partnered with an FMCG manufacturing company to onboard a Senior Category Manager to lead the strategic and marketing development of the category. With a focus on growth, innovation, and excellence across the value chain, this role supports long-term category leadership in the retail space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end strategy and execution for the category
- Drive volume, gross margin, and market share through consumer insight-led decision-making
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D and innovation to build a product pipeline
- Execute NPD plans and marketing initiatives, ensuring excellence in pricing, promotions, and portfolio
- Manage a team and report to senior leadership
- Support business development efforts by differentiating from competitors with strong brand/category execution
- Key KPIs include: executional excellence, innovation pipeline delivery, NPD contribution to revenue
- Work closely with retail and distribution partners in Saudi Arabia and the UAE
