Our client is seeking to hire a Resident Engineer (Consultant) responsible for managing and optimizing a customer's network infrastructure on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Consultant - Network Visibility, you will be at the forefront of managing and optimizing a customer's network infrastructure. Your role will involve daily operations management, troubleshooting, monitoring system health, and ensuring high performance. You will also assist in setting up, configuring, and optimizing network visibility solutions. Your ability to gather deployment requirements effectively while recommending best practices will be crucial. You will collaborate with various teams to identify potential issues or enhancements while ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and performance standards. Your proactive approach towards proposing improvements will contribute significantly towards optimizing efficiency and user experience.

• Serve as the primary technical resource for the customer's network infrastructure, handling day-to-day operations and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and maintain system health, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Assist in the setup, configuration, and optimization of network visibility solutions to meet evolving network and security requirements.
• Gather and validate deployment requirements; recommend best practices for improved network visibility and security.
• Work closely with internal and customer teams to identify and address potential issues or enhancements.
• Collaborate with system architects to ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and performance standards.
• Proactively propose improvements to the network infrastructure to optimize efficiency and user experience.
• Contribute to the development of operational processes and documentation to streamline ongoing maintenance and support.

What you bring:

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in network engineering, or network security.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Ixia, Gigamon or nGenius (NetScout) is strongly preferred.
• Experience with SIEM and NDR solutions and understanding how they integrate with other network solutions.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, L2/L3 protocols, and network security fundamentals.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware) and public/private cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Basic scripting or programming knowledge (e.g., Python, REST APIs) is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage priorities in a high-pressure environment.
