:The Senior Draftsman is responsible for organizing, planning, and supervising the documentation of structural drawings, submittals, and schedules in coordination with architectural and MEP teams. This role involves producing high-quality, error-free shop drawings for both standard and custom fixtures based on approved submittals. The Senior Draftsman ensures all deliverables meet project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements

.Key Responsibilities

:Drafting & Documentatio

• nPrepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams using CAD software based on design specifications and sketches
• .Review and revise drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards and regulations
• .Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for easy access and retrieval by project teams

.Coordination & Collaboratio

• nCoordinate drafting activities with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals
• .Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate design changes and resolve technical conflicts
• .Oversee the production and distribution of drawings to support project timelines and milestones

.Quality Assurance & Standard

• sConduct quality checks on drafts to identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and discrepancies
• .Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements
• .Stay updated on CAD software advancements and implement improvements in drafting workflows

.Team Leadership & Suppor

• tProvide guidance and training to junior draftsmen, promoting best practices and enhancing team productivity
• .Support the technical team in preparing submittals and shop drawings for consultant approval

.Job Knowledge & Skills

• :Proficiency in AutoCAD and other construction design software
• .Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP coordination
• .Knowledge of construction documentation standards and QA/QC procedures
• .Effective communication and collaboration skills
• .ERP proficiency, preferably SAP functional skills, is required
