Raya Foods; one of Raya’s subsidiaries, is hiring a Senior General Ledger Accountant .

What will you do:

  • Maintain General Ledger accountants by verifying, Allocating, reconciling transactions.
  • Review all accounting transactions and assure all entries are recorded correctly based on required approval, allocated cost centers and GL accounts.
  • Assist in the preparations of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements. 
  • Review account receivable & accounts payable and finalize pending issues.
  • Conduct analysis of financial data to identify discrepancies and irregularities and propose necessary adjustments.
  • Review periodical tax reconciliation with tax authority.
  • Prepare journal entries and perform month-end closing activities.
  • Support in internal and external audits by providing documentations and explanations related to general ledger accounts and financial transactions.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information.
  • Compliance & Tax Filings: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and assist in the preparation of tax filings, working closely with senior staff or external advisors to maintain compliance.
  • Recordkeeping & Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring proper documentation for transactions, audits, and regulatory reporting.
  • Spare parts Inventory: to managing and accounting for spare parts inventory across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, compliance with international accounting standards, and efficient inventory management.
