Overview of the role: You will support co-worker development by implementing learning programs aligned with IKEA’s values and business needs. You’ll coordinate and deliver training, manage the learning journey, and promote a strong learning culture across IKEA Egypt.

 

What you will do:

Learning & Development

  • Deliver and support training activities, including onboarding, compliance, and brand-specific learning.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analyses with teams and plan learning based on business priorities.
  • Organize and track learning using our systems and tools (e.g., LMS).
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions, both in-person and virtual.
  • Monitor progress of new hires and maintain training records.
  • Support certification, graduation, and knowledge checks for key programs.

Learning Experience & Engagement

  • Create learning events, campaigns, and engagement activities.
  • Coordinate with local and regional facilitators, trainers, and buddies.
  • Follow up on learning outcomes to ensure effectiveness.

People & Talent Development

  • Assist with career development conversations and talent programs.
  • Support individual development plans (IDPs) with relevant learning plans.
  • Help promote a positive learning and growth mindset across teams.

Learning Admin & Reporting

  • Maintain training records and oversee LMS tasks (accounts, attendance, scheduling).
  • Report on learning completion and performance data for store and market reviews.
  • Contribute to regional L&D initiatives and efficiency projects.
