Senior Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Project Manager with 5–7 years of experience managing end-to-end projects in IT or related domains. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality expectations. A PMP or Agile Scrum certification (one is required) is essential. This role demands strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to drive success across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and deliver assigned projects within approved time, budget, scope, and quality parameters.
  2. Enhance time-to-market by streamlining project execution and delivery processes.
  3. Identify and implement innovative solutions to overcome project challenges and roadblocks.
  4. Develop and manage detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for IT and business projects.
  5. Perform comprehensive risk assessments and develop response and mitigation strategies.
  6. Direct and coordinate activities of cross-functional project personnel.
  7. Assign duties, responsibilities, and authority to team members, ensuring clear accountability.
  8. Ensure project deliverables adhere to quality standards, internal controls, and group regulations.
  9. Create and maintain implementation plans, including cost-benefit and ROI analyses.
  10. Track and monitor milestones, deliverables, budgets, and schedules.
  11. Monitor team performance and provide documented feedback and coaching as needed.
  12. Maintain up-to-date project documentation including objectives, resources, technologies, and timelines.
  13. Identify and engage vendors or consultants to meet project resource needs.
  14. Compile and deliver project status reports by collecting and analyzing key performance indicators.
  15. Review and approve project changes and modifications to scope or plans.
  16. Facilitate regular communication with project personnel to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  17. Drive continuous improvement by identifying and enhancing existing work methods and practices.
  18. Ensure compliance with all established policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks.
  19. Leverage professional expertise to develop improved delivery mechanisms and strategies.
  20. Understand and manage functional risks, ensuring adherence to organizational policies.
  21. Draft and update department procedures and desk instructions, obtaining required approvals.
