Role Overview: The Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and delivering technical solutions that align with customer needs. This role requires a strong understanding of IMI’s product portfolio and the ability to communicate value propositions effectively to clients in the region.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the assigned territory
  • Manage and grow relationships with key accounts
  • Provide technical support and product demonstrations to customers
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Analyse market trends and provide strategic feedback to management
  • Negotiate commercial terms and manage contractual risks
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems 

     

Critical Competencies For Success

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in automation, fluid control, or HVAC sectors
  • Strong communication and customer relationship skills
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus
  • Valid Saudi driving license & transferable Saudi Visa
  • Experience with IMI product lines or similar technologies
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting
  • Ability to work independently and travel frequently within the region.
