We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior HVAC Design Engineer to join our Mechanical Design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and development of HVAC systems across a diverse range of building and infrastructure projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, energy-efficient designs that meet client requirements and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the HVAC system design process from concept through detailed design and construction documentation.
• Conduct load calculations, equipment sizing, and system layout for ductwork, chilled water piping, ventilation, and related HVAC components.
• Prepare comprehensive design packages including drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and reports.
• Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless design integration.
• Review HVAC submittals and shop drawings and respond to RFIs during construction.
• Perform value engineering and recommend energy-efficient solutions to clients.
• Participate in design review meetings and support project managers with technical input.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in HVAC design within a consultancy or engineering firm.
• Strong command of HVAC design software such as HAP, Duct Sizer, Revit, and AutoCAD.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC system types and applications across various sectors (e.g., commercial, healthcare, residential).
• Familiarity with international and local building codes and standards.
• Proven track record of multidisciplinary coordination and successful project delivery.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead technical discussions.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
