The Supply Chain Digitization Solution Engineer role is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting OMP supply chain planning solutions by translating business requirements into functional and technical configurations, ensuring seamless integration with ERP systems, and delivering a reliable, tested solution that aligns with business processes and drives planning effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with functional teams to analyze functional and technical requirements.
- Translate business processes and requirements into OMP solution designs and configuration settings.
- Configure OMP modules (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, Scheduling, etc.) according to defined specifications.
- Ensure all settings, parameters, and master data are aligned with business logic and process design.
- Customize planning templates, views, and planning logic (if applicable).
- Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between OMP and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Support data mapping, validation, and troubleshooting during integrations.
- Plan and execute unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Participate in go-live activities, including cut-over, data loads, and hyper-care support.
- Develop and maintain functional design documents, configuration records, and training manuals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Mechatronics, Business Informatics, or Computer Science.
- Knowledge of supply chain concepts, either academically or practically.
- Basic understanding of programming and object-oriented principles.
- Exposure to software development projects.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., JS, VBS, or JavaScript).
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Outlook) with macro creation experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
