Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of SAP Finance modules (FI/CO), ensuring seamless integration with other business functions. Serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders and the technical SAP team to optimize financial processes, maintain compliance, and align solutions with organizational goals.
Key Accountability Areas
SAP Finance (FI/CO) Solution Ownership:
- Lead the design, configuration, and support of SAP FI/CO modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Cost Center Accounting.
- Manage integration of SAP Finance with other modules such as MM, SD, HR, and PP.
- Customize and enhance financial functionalities to align with evolving business needs.
Project Leadership & Implementation:
- Act as the finance workstream leads to SAP implementations, upgrades, and rollouts.
- Oversee project planning, timelines, deliverables, and coordination across IT and business teams.
- Ensure effective issue resolution, risk mitigation, and adherence to change control processes.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partners with Finance, Controlling, and Audit teams gather requirements and deliver SAP-based solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, user training sessions, and prepare supporting documentation for end users.
Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure SAP Finance processes adhere to local statutory requirements, accounting principles (e.g., IFRS, GAAP), and internal policies.
- Support audit activities by providing necessary system documentation and access as required.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
- Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify and implement process optimizations.
- Stay informed about SAP advancements (e.g., S/4HANA, Fiori) and provide recommendations for strategic adoption.
