Job Summary

Lead and oversee the process of responding to requests for proposals (RFPs) and tenders. Managing a team responsible for preparing and submitting proposals, ensuring the quality and completeness of submissions, and coordinating with various internal stakeholders. Effectively manage the entire tender and proposal process, from initial assessment to submission, to maximize the company’s chances of winning contracts and projects. Enhancing the company’s competitiveness by continuously improving proposal quality and aligning responses with customer needs and company objectives.

Key Accountability Areas 

Strategic Customer Engagement and Relationship Building:

  • Present alfanar as a solution provider rather than a product supplier and effectively target customers with our full portfolio of products.
  • Support the pre-sales process, product development, and pre-research scope to engage and build relationships with customers effectively.

Proposal and Tender Management:

  • Manage and monitor all incoming inquiries/tenders to ensure completeness and accuracy of pricing and technical tender schedules.
  • Plan, organize, lead, and administer proposal development activities.
  • Analyze and evaluate customer Requests for Proposals.
  • Plan tender milestones and monitor deadlines for timely approvals and submissions.
  • Coordinate and follow up with proposal team members, resource allocation, and completeness.
  • Verify and quality control cost and price calculation tools.
  • Lead proposal review and approval routines.
  • Analyze and coordinate answers to customer questions and participate in negotiations.
  • Responsible for producing winning proposals according to customer requirements.
  • Lead negotiations during the bidding stage to secure the best offers from suppliers.
  • Develop tender tools and maintain a database to ensure accurate outcomes of the tendering process.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Control project budget and delivery by coordinating with all related functions.
  • Extend the company's portfolio in coordination with marketing product managers and factories.
  • Support the marketing team to enhance marketing tools.
  • Enhance the technical competencies for the Tender Team, Customer, Sales, Marketing team, etc.
