To lead the financial planning and performance management for the Retail Banking business in Egypt, covering both conventional and digital businesses. The role plays a strategic finance leadership position—driving planning processes, tracking investments with precision, and aligning business performance with group objectives
As a key interface between country and group finance, the incumbent will influence senior decision-making, enable disciplined growth, and drive process and digital transformation across the finance landscape.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes for both conventional and digital Retail Banking units, ensuring alignment with country and group priorities.
Design and implement detailed investment tracking frameworks, particularly for digital businesses—monitoring capital allocation, benefits realization, and cost discipline.
Deliver timely and insightful performance reports and business reviews with clear variance analysis, KPIs, and financial storytelling.
Act as a strategic partner to business heads—supporting pricing, new product launches, channel strategy and growth initiatives.
Lead local deployment of group-wide planning and reporting systems; streamline processes and improve automation across the planning cycle.
Support governance processes by preparing materials for country ExCo, business reviews, and investment committees.
Institutionalize best-in-class planning practices—ensuring robustness, auditability, and agility in financial processes
Foster a strong performance culture within the finance team; mentor and develop junior talent.
Qualifications
Education: CA / CPA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent professional qualification.
Experience:
10–15 years in Financial Planning & Analysis or Business Finance
Exposure to both traditional and digital banking models, with a strong understanding of digital KPIs and investment metrics
Prior experience interacting with regional/global finance stakeholders
